Three Soldiers Killed at Forwarding Base In Magumeri

three Nigerian soldiers were killed and 6 seriously injured last night as Boko Haram militants traveling in 7 gun trucks attacked a Nigerian army "Forward Base" in Magumeri 32 kilometers from Maiduguri. Saharareporters learned that Boko Haram militants briefly occupied the town after arriving there at 10:20 pm Nigerian time.

The militants were later dislodged by a reinforcement of troops from the Nigerian Army 5th Brigade.

The militant fled with an Army gun truck and ammunition looted from the armory of the base.

Intels Drags FG to Court over Deportation of 102 Expatriate Staff
