Babandede said, his formation had no prior knowledge of Mr. Maina, until he was declared wanted by the Senate and the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
“We only knew about Maina on 27th September 2013, when he was accosted at the international airport around 2pm, following the letter from the EFCC declaring him wanted.
“Since 2013, we have checked through our e-portals but could not see anywhere that Maina has traveled out of the country. He may have travelled out of the country through unusual means”, he told the committee.
Mr. Babandede said, the NIS has e-pass in 12 land borders, aside the airports, though he said he won’t mention their names, for security reasons.

They have the guts of declaring their intention to reclaim office.” The President cautioned the opposition to be ready to respond to questions from Nigerians on how they governed for 16 years without genuine development.
